July Adrichem (1988) is a Dutch artist known for her focus on minimalistic shapes and her quest for balance in an ever-changing world. Her (wall) sculptures explore the harmony between materials, shapes, and colors, with the process of synchronization at the heart of her work.
A graduate of Artemis Academy Amsterdam (2012), July began her creative career as an interior stylist at Piet Boon Studio, where she developed handmade objects that inspired her artistic path. By 2014, she transitioned to freelance work, gradually shifting her focus from styling and design to creating handmade art pieces.
Her signature series, such as the Art Bowl Series and Stitched Paper Series, showcase her evolution into a modern, abstract artist. Drawing inspiration from the Zero Movement (1958–1966), her work reflects its monochrome aesthetics, ribbed surfaces, and the blend of sculpture with painting, striving for synchronicity and balance—an ultimate challenge in contemporary life.
